Meet Your New Principal

Stephanie Rhodes Tyree comes to Enderly Heights Elementary School after teaching over a decade in Rockbridge County Schools.  Mrs. Tyree is a 1994 graduate of Parry McCluer High School.  After graduating from PMHS, she attended Shenandoah University. Mrs Tyree graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Shenandoah University. After graduating from SU, Mrs. Tyree worked in real estate while attending Mary Baldwin in pursuit of a teaching license.  Mrs. Tyree graduated from Mary Baldwin in 2006.  After graduating from Mary Baldwin, Mrs. Tyree began teaching at Kling Elementary.  While at Kling, Tyree taught kindergarten through second grade.  Mrs. Tyree then left Kling and went to teach at Mountain View Elementary in Rockbridge County.  While at Mountain View, she taught reading in grades first through fifth.  Mrs. Tyree also taught math intervention and worked with kindergarten through second grade in a variety of ways.  During the time while teaching at Mountain View, Mrs. Tyree went to James Madison University and received a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 2012.  Mrs. Tyree is happy to be back home in Buena Vista.  Once a Blue, Always a Blue!!
